In preparation for her headlining spot at the Glastonbury festival this Sunday, Beyonce strayed from her album material and gave an exciting medley for viewers in Nice, France last night (June 20).
Beyonce began her medley with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" alongside her back-up singers. The diva flubbed one lyric, but finished off the opening section of the track powerfully along with a big instrumental finish.
The medley then turned to Prince's "The Beautiful Ones," a "Purple Rain" album cut that Beyonce performed during her 2009 tour. Bey showed off her head voice, some powerful belting, and even some screaming at the end.
Yet the fiercest vocals were from the last song in the medley, King Of Leon's "Sex On Fire." With some epic echo effects, Beyonce proved she has a little bit of a rock star in her with the cover.
